New Clients in Copperhill, TN

Yesterday (the 18th), I drove about 90 minutes south, through very winding roads (this was only the 2nd time I have gotten a little motion sickness while I was driving - but that should give you an idea of how many turns there was.  On one turn, it was such a tight switchback, I could almost see my own back license plate on my truck) to Copperhill, TN to see a couple of new clients.

Rob and Milli were recommended to us by Matt Pinto D.O. in Philadelphia and Matt was recommended to us by Tasha Wallace, D.O., who I've known for several years now.   Anyway - I'm looking forward to us working with Milli and Rob as they are super nice people wanting to give excellent care and there is no doubt that we'll help them increase their income quite a bit while helping them get better results with their patients.

They live in a beautiful area of Tennessee (You can just about throw a rock from their house to georgia and if you have a really really good arm - North Carolina - so you should have an idea of where they are in Southeastern Tennessee).

This week, Keith and I had 9 phone analysis to do with doctors (some were practice analysis, some were diagnostic and some were lab), so we have 4 scheduled for Wednesday, 1 for Thursday and 2 for Friday still to go.  There is a problem, though.   It looks like Keith will be the one doing these on the phone, as it seems like I may be having a problem with my larynx, based on the fact that over the past 5 months, my voice has been getting more course, gruff and it's been getting more difficult to speak.   Today, I spent an hour on the phone with Dr, Kepko in Pennsylvania and by the end of the one hour call, it was almost gone.   I'm not having any pain - just the voice change.   So - I'm seeing an ENT doctor in Knoxville on this Friday and hopefully, he'll go ahead and do a laryngoscopy on me in that same visit and tell me if I have a polyp on my larynx or what may be the problem.

For someone who uses his voice (some say too much), it's pretty much like putting handcuffs on a painter when you take away the voice.     So - we'll see what happens this Friday and in the meantime, Angie keeps threatening me with duct tape if I talk.   I tried to tell her that my larynx is also keeping me from cooking - but she isn't buying that, so I'll quit now as I'm making hamburgers over an open fire outside tonight.
